Is it possible to visit the museum without a guided tour?
Yes, a visit without a guided tour is generally intended and possible.
No registration is required for this. Please refer to our opening hours:
Wednesday – Sunday and public holidays: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
For groups of 15 or more people, a guided tour can be arranged.

Is there an age restriction for children and adolescents?
There is no official restriction on our part; visiting with children is at the discretion of the parents.
Please note that our exhibition includes explicit content (e.g. original police photos, crime scene images).
Due to the nature of the exhibition, we recommend a minimum age of 12 years.
Is it possible to visit outside of regular opening hours?
Yes, for guided group tours.

Is the museum wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately, due to the building’s historic and protected architecture, we are unable to provide barrier-free access.
Is the museum in English?
A great part of the museum is already in English, although we are still working on the transcription and not everything is in English yet. We do offer an English Audio Guide which explains the exhibition in English language as well.
